Why snack box delivery is priced separately

The first question most people ask when they request a snack box price is whether the snack box price includes delivery. At BreakHub the answer is no. The price per box covers the product, and delivery is a separate line that the team quotes once they see the address and time. This page explains why we split them, what to look at when you read a quotation, and how to work out the true total before you take it to an approver.

Does the snack box price include delivery?

No. The prices of ฿42, ฿70 and ฿85 per box are for the boxes alone. Delivery is separate and based on real distance, and we do not publish a fixed delivery figure on the website because every area is different.

If you wonder whether break catering has a delivery charge at all, it does, and the team tells you the amount before you confirm. The figure in the confirmation message is the figure agreed.

Why is delivery priced separately from the pastries?

The two costs do not move together. The cost of pastries per box stays the same wherever the boxes go, but delivery changes with the destination and the time. Blending them into one price means averaging: people who are close overpay, and people who are far get a price that does not match reality.

Splitting them also makes offers easier to compare. You see what a box costs and what delivery costs, and you do not have to guess what a bundled price hides. Take two offers. Let P be the per-box price another supplier quotes with delivery already included, and X the delivery fee our team quotes.

OfferBox priceDeliveryTotal for 50 boxes
Other supplier, delivery includedP bahtIncluded50 x P
Recommend Set, delivery separate70 bahtX baht3,500 + X

Ours is cheaper only when X is less than 50 x (P minus 70). If P is 75 baht, for example, X must be under 250 baht. A bundled offer looks simpler, but simpler is not the same as cheaper. You can only compare for real once you have the X the team quotes, and you should check that the other box holds the same things, such as a drink.

What are the conditions for free shipping on a snack box?

We do not publish free shipping conditions on the website at the moment. If another supplier says shipping is free above a certain amount, ask our team whether your order meets any condition. They will answer plainly in the confirmation message.

A few cautions when you read a free shipping claim elsewhere.

  • Conditions usually apply. Free shipping often needs a minimum amount and a limited area, and it does not cover every address.
  • A cheap box may leave out the drink. If water is not in the box, you have to buy it on top.
  • Free does not mean the cost is gone. Sometimes it is already built into the box price.

Why does break catering delivery cost so much?

Delivery for event food usually costs more than an ordinary parcel because it has to arrive on time, be carried flat and not tossed, and be dropped at a building entrance. These are general reasons for event food delivery, not a description of how our fee is calculated. The team gives the real figure for each order.

  1. The time has to be right. If the break starts at 10:00, the boxes must be there before 10:00, not when it suits the courier.
  2. Pastries lose their shape easily. They must be loaded and carried with care and not stacked too high.
  3. The delivery point matters. Tall buildings, badge exchange or a long walk from the drop-off all add time per trip.
  4. The number of boxes counts. More boxes need more space in the vehicle and more people to carry.

If the fee you are quoted looks high, ask whether changing the delivery time or merging two breaks into one drop would reduce it. Do not assume, because any reduction depends on the area and the queue.

How is the total with delivery worked out?

The formula is number of boxes x price per box + delivery. This table shows the box cost, and X is the delivery fee, charged by distance, that the team quotes.

CaseBox costReal total
Meeting of 50, Value Set50 x 42 = 2,1002,100 + X
Training of 60, Recommend Set60 x 70 = 4,2004,200 + X
Seminar of 80, Best Seller Set80 x 85 = 6,8006,800 + X
Guest event of 50, Best Seller Set50 x 85 = 4,2504,250 + X

All figures are in baht. When an event is small and the box cost is a few thousand baht, delivery can be a large share of the total, while for large events the share is smaller. That is why it often pays to combine people from several teams into one order. Use the break budget calculator to check the box cost, then add the delivery fee once you have it.

How can I reduce delivery as a share of the total?

Design the order so that it needs as few trips as possible. Three things work for most events: combine boxes from several teams in the same building into one order, set a single delivery time for breaks that are close together, and give a clear drop-off point so no time is lost at the entrance.

Example: three departments in one building each want 20 boxes, 60 in total. Each department cannot order alone, because each is under the 50-box minimum per order, so they combine into one order of 60 boxes, delivered once and shared out internally. The box cost stays the same and there is only one delivery, which the team confirms for that order.

What should I check when I read a quotation with box cost and delivery?

A good quotation separates each line clearly. Before you approve, run through this list. It takes under five minutes and prevents the kind of mistake that forces you to ask for a corrected document later.

  • Do the set name and the price per box match what you discussed?
  • Do the box counts per set add up to the number you ordered?
  • Is delivery on its own line, and does it say how many trips?
  • Are the date, time and place correct?
  • Is the menu the team confirmed right, especially if the group has food allergies or restrictions?
  • Has the team confirmed any paperwork your organisation needs?

A mistake that can easily happen is that an admin gets approval based on the box cost seen on the website and discovers afterwards that delivery was missing. If the approval request says "box cost plus the delivery fee quoted by the team" from the start, there is no need to go back for more approval.

How do I get the real delivery fee?

Send four details through the LINE order button or the form, and the team replies with the delivery fee, the total and the menu.

  1. The address or building name, and where the boxes should be placed.
  2. The date and time the boxes must arrive.
  3. The number of boxes and the sets (mixing is allowed).
  4. The type of event, such as a meeting or a merit-making ceremony.

We deliver in Bangkok and the surrounding provinces, and the team checks your address again before confirming. Order at least 2 days ahead and pay in full before delivery day. If your organisation needs documents, ask for a quotation. To see how the team looks at areas, read the snack box delivery fee guide, and see every box price on the prices page. The pictures on the website are illustrations.

What to know before ordering

There are several conditions around delivery that are worth knowing before you plan a budget, so the real total does not differ from the one you had in mind.

  • Minimum 50 boxes per order. Delivery is charged per trip, so combining teams into one order helps you reach the minimum and cuts the number of trips.
  • Delivery is confirmed address by address. The team checks that the address is in the Bangkok and surrounding area that we serve. There is no published list of districts.
  • No free shipping is advertised. We do not offer a free shipping condition on the site, so rely only on the delivery figure in the team's confirmation message.
  • Delivery times are not guaranteed. The team confirms the arrival time you agree on, but we do not guarantee delivery with a fixed promise.
  • Payment in full before delivery. You pay 100% before delivery day, and reducing the box count needs 48 hours of notice. The delivery fee follows the order as confirmed.

Summary

BreakHub snack box prices do not include delivery. The prices of ฿42, ฿70 and ฿85 per box are for the product, and delivery is charged by real distance and quoted before you confirm. Your total is the number of boxes times the box price, plus delivery. To keep delivery a smaller share of the total, combine orders from several teams and deliver once. When you ask for approval, write the delivery fee as its own line from the start.

For a real figure for your event, send the address, date, time and number of boxes through the quotation form or press the LINE order button on a set page.

Frequently asked questions

Does the BreakHub snack box price include delivery?

No. The prices of ฿42 to ฿85 per box cover the product only. Delivery is charged by real distance and shown as a separate line, and the team tells you the figure when they confirm your order, before you agree to anything.

Is there a delivery charge for break catering?

Yes, but the amount depends on the address, the time and the number of boxes in each order. The team quotes the delivery fee before you confirm, and the total in the confirmation message is the amount agreed.

What are the conditions for free shipping on a snack box?

We do not publish free shipping conditions on the website. If you want to know whether your order meets any condition, ask the team on LINE and include the address and the number of boxes, and they will answer in the confirmation message.

Why does break snack delivery cost so much?

Event food has to arrive on time, be carried carefully because pastries lose shape easily, and sometimes reach hard locations. The team quotes the real figure per order. You can ask whether changing the delivery time or combining drops would suit your event better.

How is the break catering total with delivery worked out?

The total is number of boxes x price per box + delivery fee. For example, 60 boxes of the Recommend Set is ฿4,200 plus the delivery fee the team quotes. You can check the box part first with the break budget calculator.

How much does snack box delivery start at?

There is no fixed figure on the website, because the fee is based on the real distance of each address. The team gives you the number with the total before you confirm. Send the address, date, time and number of boxes through LINE or the form to get it.

Is delivery charged twice if I have two breaks in one day?

It depends on the times and the place. Tell the team whether you want two drops or one, and they will say how it is charged. Please do not assume, because the answer differs from order to order.
