What is a snack box, what is inside, and how is it different from a coffee break table?
IllustrationIf you have just been asked to find snacks for a meeting this Thursday, and the word snack box appears in a quotation or in the HR group chat, you may wonder what it actually is. A snack box is a boxed break snack packed for one person, with pastries and usually a drink. The guest opens it and eats. There is no queue at a table and no need for plates or cutlery. This page explains what is inside, how the sets differ, and when a box is a better choice than a break table.
What is a snack box, and what else is it called?
A snack box is a set of break snacks packed in a box, one box per person. Inside are one or two pastries and often a drink. The organiser orders by headcount and hands a box to each person at the break.
The idea goes by several names: break box, break set, meeting snack set or boxed refreshments. They all mean the same thing, snacks packed for one person in advance, as opposed to a break table where food is laid out together and each guest serves themselves.
The advantage shows when numbers grow. The organiser can count exactly, guests do not queue, and nobody takes more than their share so that people at the back of the line find the tray empty. The drawback to know about is that once the boxes are packed, you cannot change one person's menu on the spot, so say what you need before ordering.
What is inside a BreakHub snack box?
A BreakHub box is a white box with the BreakHub logo. Inside are one or two freshly baked pastries depending on the set, each in its own clear sachet, and a tissue in every box. The drink depends on the set. Packing is included in the box price, with no extra packing charge.
Everything is baked fresh for each order, without preservatives, so we suggest eating it on the day it arrives. The clear sachet lets the guest see what the pastry is before opening it, and keeps handing it out clean. If you have ever seen a box where the pastries are piled together and the fillings smear, that is what separate sachets prevent.

- Pastries: You choose from the menu. The entry set uses the classic menu of 10, and the higher sets use the premium menu of 19. You can mix pastries within one order, up to 20 pieces of any one kind.
- Drinks: The Value Set has a 100 ml cup of drinking water, the Recommend Set has no drink, and the Best Seller Set has a 180 ml orange juice drink. If you want to add or swap a drink in some boxes, tell the team when you order.
- Tissue: Every box has one, so guests do not have to look for something to wipe their hands.
How many sets are there, and how do they differ?
BreakHub has 3 sets: the Value Set at ฿42, the Recommend Set at ฿70 and the Best Seller Set at ฿85 a box. They differ in the number of pastries, the menu level and the drink. The table is a quick comparison. Prices are per box and exclude delivery, which is charged by distance.
| Set | Price per box | In the box | Suits | Budget for 60 boxes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Value Set | ฿42 | 1 pastry + 100 ml drinking water cup, classic menu of 10 | Regular meetings, training on a tight budget | ฿2,520 |
| Recommend Set | ฿70 | 2 premium pastries, no drink, premium menu of 19 | Events that already have their own coffee or tea | ฿4,200 |
| Best Seller Set | ฿85 | 2 premium pastries + 180 ml orange juice drink | Seminars, executives, invited guests | ฿5,100 |
The last column is plain multiplication: 60 × ฿42, 60 × ฿70 and 60 × ฿85. If you are torn between two sets, you can mix sets in one order, for example the Value Set for general attendees and the Best Seller Set for speakers. The combined total must be at least 50 boxes. For the full price picture, see the snack box prices page.
What snacks go in a break box? Menu examples
The pastries are freshly baked, split into a classic menu for the Value Set and a premium menu for the other two sets. Here are the examples the team points to when people ask what a break snack can be.
On the classic side there are Plain Croissant, Fresh Butter Bun, Pandan Custard Bun, Pork Floss Chili Bun, Chicken Floss Chili Bun, Chicken Pizza Pie, Curry Chicken Pie and Banana Chocolate Chip Cake. On the premium side there are Double Chocolate Croissant, Hong Kong BBQ Pork Bun, Ham and Cheese Bun, Chicken Pizza Cone, Japanese Chicken Curry Bun, Raisin Cinnamon Roll, Hokkaido Milk Bun, Egg Tart, Chocolate Cookie Brownie, Butter Cake and Banana Almond Cake.
When choosing, think about the time of day and who is eating. A 9 a.m. meeting often suits something not too sweet, such as the Fresh Butter Bun or a savoury pie. An afternoon break often calls for a small sweet, such as a brownie or an egg tart. For pairings by type of meeting, see meeting snack menu ideas.
How is a snack box different from a coffee break?
The difference is how it is served. A snack box is handed out as one box per person. A coffee break table lays out food and drinks together for guests to walk up and take, with hot coffee or tea at the centre. Both work for the same event, but the effort is different.
A break table needs someone to set it up, refill it and clear it. A box is ordered and handed out, with no table to build, and the organiser does not worry about the tray running out before the last person arrives. BreakHub sells boxed sets only. If your event also needs hot coffee or tea, set up the drinks corner yourself and use the boxes for the food side. That is a common setup where the organiser already has a coffee machine.

What do you need for a meeting break, and when does a snack box beat a break table?
A meeting break needs food and drink first. The three things people forget are the person who receives the delivery, a place to put it, and the time it arrives. A snack box takes much of the on-site work away, and it suits these situations.
- Small or multiple meeting rooms: There is no space for a break table. Boxes go into the room and are handed out at once.
- Dozens of people arriving together: There is no queue at the table, and everyone gets the same portion.
- Off-site events or events without support staff: One organiser can receive, count and hand out the boxes.
- Events with a fixed budget per head: The price per box is clear and easy to calculate.
A planning example: a training day for 60 people with a break at 9:30. Order 60 Value Set boxes for ฿2,520 before delivery, have them arrive about half an hour before serving, and leave them at the back of the room. When the chair announces the break, you can hand them out straight away. An event that wants a long, seated social break, with the budget for a table and staff, may feel better with a break table. That is a matter of taste for the event.
If you are unsure how many boxes to order, count the people who will really attend and add a small margin. The method is in how many snack boxes to order, and for matching sets to events, read how to choose a snack box.
What to know before ordering a snack box
Snack boxes are convenient, but they come with conditions you should know before ordering, so your plan does not wobble close to the date.
- Minimum of 50 boxes: We do not take smaller orders. For a small event, try combining the needs of several departments on the same day, or message the team on LINE to ask about other options.
- Order at least 2 days ahead: There are rush options, same day before 10:00 for 17:00, or within 4 hours, but they cover only some pastries and depend on the day's queue. See the rush order page.
- Delivery is separate from the box price: It is charged by real distance and quoted before you confirm. We deliver in Bangkok and the surrounding provinces, confirmed address by address, and not every area is promised.
- Payment in full before the delivery day: You can reduce the number of boxes if you tell us 48 hours ahead. After that the original count stands.
- No allergen guarantee: If any guest has an allergy, tell the team when you ask for a price, and do not assume the box is free of allergens.
- Eat on the day: The pastries are baked fresh without preservatives, so they are not meant to be kept overnight.
How do you order a snack box?
There are two ways to order: press the LINE order button on the set page you chose, or fill in the quotation form. The team confirms the menu, delivery fee and time, and you pay before the delivery day. The steps are below.
- Choose a set and pastries on the snack box page or in the set builder. If you are not sure, give your budget and headcount on LINE, and the team will help put together a set within the menu.
- Press the LINE order button, which copies the order summary for you, or fill in the form.
- Send the address, date, time, drop-off point and on-site coordinator.
- The team confirms the menu, delivery fee and time.
- You check and agree, and pay before the delivery day. Only then does the order go into preparation.
A detailed timeline for each window is in how many days ahead to order a snack box. The documents available are a quotation, an invoice and a receipt.
