Designing a Full-Day Meeting with 2 Breaks

A full-day meeting or training usually has two breaks, one around 10:00 in the morning and one around 15:00 or 16:00 in the afternoon. The questions organisers ask most are whether to use the same set both times or different ones, and what the total comes to. This page is a guide to morning and afternoon breaks with a budget for 50 people across all 3 sets.

The figures on this page leave out delivery, which is charged by real distance and confirmed by the team for your address. Ask whether the two rounds are delivered separately or together, because that affects the total.

How much does a two-break day cost for 50 people?

For 50 people and two rounds, you need 100 boxes. The total is between ฿4,200 and ฿8,500 depending on the set, before delivery.

SetPrice per boxCalculationTotal before delivery (฿)
Value Set4250 x 2 x 424,200
Recommend Set7050 x 2 x 707,000
Best Seller Set8550 x 2 x 858,500

If the total budget falls between these figures, say ฿7,500, no single set fits exactly, so mix them. Recommend Set for both rounds comes to ฿7,000, leaving ฿500. Use that to switch some boxes to the Best Seller Set, which costs ฿15 more per box, so about 33 boxes, making ฿7,495. The team can work out the split once you tell them the budget.

Should the morning and afternoon boxes be the same set or different?

Either works. Using different sets lets you fit the budget more precisely, and the afternoon, when people start to flag, can get the more generous set or the drink.

Here are some mixes that fit a budget for 50 people.

PlanMorningAfternoonTotal before delivery (฿)

When you order two different sets, tell the team clearly which round gets which set and when each round arrives. You can mix sets in one order, but write them on separate lines to avoid confusion.

When should the boxes arrive for an all-day training?

With two rounds, you can set two delivery times, or take everything once and hold the afternoon share, depending on where you can keep boxes on site.

  • One delivery: suits a room with a safe place to keep boxes, and spares the person receiving from two handovers. You must be sure the afternoon pastries will not lose their shape while they wait.
  • Two deliveries: suits a venue with no storage, or when you want the afternoon pastries fresher. The team must confirm that two deliveries are possible and what the fee will be.

As an example, take a training from 09:00 to 16:30 with a morning break at 10:30 and an afternoon break at 14:45. Ask for the morning boxes by 10:00 and the afternoon boxes by 14:15, leaving half an hour in both cases to count them. These times are a planning example. The team confirms the real arrival time order by order, and we do not guarantee a fixed delivery time.

How should you plan the menu for two seminar breaks?

A simple rule for a two-break menu is to keep the morning light and give the afternoon a drink or more pastry. Pastries are chosen from each set's menu, and the team confirms the menu before delivery.

Things to know about the menu.

  • Menu size: The Value Set picks from the classic menu of 10. The Recommend Set and Best Seller Set pick from the premium menu of 19. You can mix, but no more than 20 pieces of the same kind.
  • Two rounds: If you do not want attendees to see the same pastry twice, choose different ones for each round, for example Plain Croissant in the morning and Chicken Pizza Pie in the afternoon, and tell the team when you order.
  • Drinks: The Recommend Set has no drink. If the room has no drinking water for guests, choose the Best Seller Set, which comes with a 180 ml orange juice drink, or ask the team to swap or add a drink per box.

Do not tell attendees to expect a particular pastry until the team has confirmed the menu. If anyone has a food allergy, tell the team when you order, because we do not guarantee that standard sets are allergen-free.

What is the budget per person per day, and what about other event sizes?

The per-person daily budget is the morning set price plus the afternoon set price, from ฿84 to ฿170. You can compare that figure directly with the approved budget without multiplying by headcount every time.

ChoicePer person per day (฿)30 people (60 boxes)80 people
Value Set both rounds842,5206,720
Value Set morning + Recommend Set afternoon1123,3608,960
Value Set morning + Best Seller Set afternoon1273,81010,160
Recommend Set both rounds1404,20011,200
Best Seller Set both rounds1705,10013,600

Here is a check. A training for 30 people has ฿4,000 approved. Recommend Set for both rounds (฿4,200) is ฿200 over. If you must stay within it, switch the morning round to the Value Set (฿3,360), which fits, and leaves ฿640 for the delivery fee the team confirms. If delivery is higher than that, drop a set down one level.

This example shows the method, not a delivery price. The real fee depends on the area, so ask the team before you close the budget.

What if fewer people stay for the afternoon?

If the two rounds have different headcounts, order a separate count for each round instead of one number for the day. The order as a whole must still reach 50 boxes.

Take a seminar with 80 people in the morning and about 60 in the afternoon because some leave early. Order 80 boxes for the morning and 60 for the afternoon, 140 in all. On the Value Set for both rounds that is 140 x 42 = ฿5,880 before delivery. The difficulty is that many people do not know yet whether they will stay, and reducing a count needs 48 hours' notice, so ask at registration whether each person is staying for half the day or all of it.

Remember to add speakers, the host and the organising team to both rounds. They stay all day and are the people most often forgotten in the count.

How do you order two breaks in one order?

You can order both rounds together in one order, as long as you state the details for each round clearly. The minimum is 50 boxes per order in total, payment is in full before delivery, and you must order at least 2 days ahead (reducing the count needs 48 hours' notice). If your event totals fewer than 50 boxes, we do not take it as a normal order, so try combining with another event or message the team to talk it through.

  1. Choose the set for each round, or give your budget and let the team recommend.
  2. Send the box count, date and arrival time for each round, with the venue, through LINE or the quotation form.
  3. The team confirms the menu, the delivery fee (including the case of two deliveries) and the total.
  4. You check and confirm, and the order goes into the preparation queue.

To try figures before you send them, use the snack box budget calculator. For examples built around exactly 50 attendees, see snack boxes for 50 people.

What should you check before confirming a two-break order?

Check these 6 items before you confirm, because these are the points where a two-round order goes wrong more often than a single-round order.

  1. Are the morning and afternoon box counts the same? If not, state them separately.
  2. Is the set for each round correct?
  3. Do the two delivery times match the event schedule?
  4. Will someone be there to receive both deliveries?
  5. Does the total include delivery, and does it match what was approved?
  6. Have you asked the team about any documents you need?

What to know before ordering two breaks

A two-break order has the same limits as any other order, plus a few that come from scheduling two arrivals.

  • 50-box minimum: Both rounds count together in one order. If the total is below 50, we do not take it as a normal order.
  • Rush is not always possible: Rush orders work only for some pastries and depend on the day's queue. Check the express order page before you plan around it.
  • Addresses are confirmed: We deliver in Bangkok and the surrounding provinces, confirmed address by address, with the fee charged by distance. If you want two deliveries, ask how that is charged.
  • Reductions need 48 hours' notice: After that the original count stands.
  • No allergy guarantee: Tell the team about food restrictions when you order so they can say how far they can help.

Summary

Two breaks for 50 people need 100 boxes, costing from ฿4,200 on the Value Set to ฿8,500 on the Best Seller Set before delivery. Mixing sets, such as the Value Set in the morning and the Recommend Set in the afternoon, helps you land on the budget. Order at least 2 days ahead, keep the total at 50 boxes or more, and pay in full before delivery.

Pick your sets on the snack box page, or send your budget and headcount through the quotation form or the LINE order button, and the team will help split the two rounds.

Frequently asked questions

How many boxes do I need for two breaks for 50 people?

You need 100 boxes, which is 50 people times 2 rounds. With the Value Set that comes to ฿4,200, and with the Recommend Set ฿7,000, before delivery. The team confirms the delivery fee by real distance.

Should an all-day meeting use different sets for the two rounds?

You can, and it is a good way to fit the budget, for example the Value Set at ฿42 in the morning and the Recommend Set at ฿70 in the afternoon. Sets can be mixed in one order. Just tell the team which round gets which set.

Should a two-break seminar have one delivery or two?

Both are possible. It depends on whether the venue has a safe place to keep boxes. Tell the team when you order, and they will confirm which delivery pattern works and what the delivery fee is.

Will the morning and afternoon pastries be the same?

You can choose the pastries for each round from the menu of the set you order, and the team confirms before delivery. If you do not want the two rounds to repeat, tell the team when you order.

How much per person should I budget for two breaks?

It depends on the set, multiplied by 2 rounds. For example the Value Set is ฿84 per person per day, the Recommend Set ฿140 and the Best Seller Set ฿170. These figures leave out delivery. If your budget falls between them, mix the sets.

How many days ahead should I order for an all-day training?

Order at least 2 days before the event. If the budget needs approval, request the quotation earlier. Rush options exist: order before 10:00 for 17:00 the same day, or within 4 hours, with a limited menu, so ask about the queue on LINE first.

Can I reduce the afternoon count if fewer people stay?

Tell the team when you order how many boxes each round needs. If you find out later, message on LINE straight away and the team will say whether a change is possible given the preparation status. Reducing needs 48 hours notice, and the order must stay at 50 boxes or more.
