Snack boxes for weddings and engagements
IllustrationA wedding has several groups of guests who do not arrive together. Elders come before the morning ceremony, friends arrive mid-morning, and family guests turn up for the reception. The snacks have to be split by time. A wedding snack box makes handing out easy, nobody has to stand and serve pastries, and the hosts do not have to manage a snack table while following the ceremony. This page covers how many boxes to order, which part of the day to use them in, and what to prepare before ordering.
BreakHub sells individual snack boxes in 3 sets, at ฿42, ฿70 and ฿85 per box. Pastries are baked fresh for each order with no preservatives, every pastry is packed in a clear sachet, and each box has tissue. The box is a white box with the BreakHub logo. The one thing to know early is the 50-box minimum per order. An engagement or morning ceremony with fewer guests has to combine orders, which the sections below explain.
When during a wedding can you use snack boxes?
There are 3 main moments: the morning ceremony, the wait for guests before the reception, and handing out before guests go home. Each moment suits a different set, and you do not need to use all three.
- Morning ceremony: Monk blessings, the water-pouring rite or the groom's procession. Relatives and helpers often have not had breakfast yet, and a box with a drink is the most convenient.
- Waiting for guests or photo time: The bride's friends and the helping team want something quick while they wait.
- Handing out before leaving: A small gift for guests who travel a long way, ready to carry home.
If the reception already has a main meal, the snack box is only an extra. You do not need to order every box in the biggest set. Choose by the role of each group of guests.
Which set suits the morning ceremony snacks at a wedding?
For the morning ceremony, pick a set that is easy to eat and comes with a drink, such as the Value Set at ฿42, which holds 1 classic pastry and a 100 ml cup of drinking water. People in a ceremony keep moving and have no time to sit and eat. Every pastry is in its own sachet inside the box, so it can be picked up without touching anything else.
Thai wedding morning ceremonies tend to start early, so the delivery team has to arrive well before the ceremony. State the time clearly and tell us where the van can stop, because some hotels and family homes have limited gate hours. An early-morning delivery always has to be confirmed with the team first, and we do not guarantee a delivery time in advance.
Here is an example for a 60-person morning ceremony of elders and the helping team (an order must reach at least 50 boxes).
| Group | Quantity | Set | Total before delivery |
|---|---|---|---|
| Elders | 15 boxes | Best Seller Set ฿85 | ฿1,275 |
| Helpers and close friends | 45 boxes | Value Set ฿42 | ฿1,890 |
| Total | 60 boxes | Two sets mixed | ฿3,165 |
Delivery is not in these figures. It is charged by real distance to the ceremony venue. Pastries can be mixed from the menu, with one kind limited to 20 pieces, and the team confirms the menu before preparing the order. If your morning ceremony has fewer than 50 guests it cannot be ordered alone. Try combining it into one order with the snacks for an evening reception, or message the team on LINE.

How are engagement snack boxes different from wedding ones?
An engagement has fewer guests, mostly close family, so the box count is often between 20 and 60. Because the minimum is 50 boxes per order, an engagement with fewer guests has to combine with snacks for another part of the event or ask the team first. A tidier choice than the basic set is the Recommend Set at ฿70 or the Best Seller Set at ฿85.
Engagement snacks are usually used at 2 moments.
- During the procession or while waiting for the auspicious time, so the side that joined the procession has something to eat while they wait.
- After the engagement ceremony, as a small gift for relatives of both families to take home.
If elderly guests do not eat many sweets, tell the team in advance and pick savoury items from the premium menu, such as Hong Kong BBQ Pork Bun or Ham and Cheese Bun, in place of sweet items. The team confirms the menu before the event day.
When should you hand out wedding giveaway snacks, and how many boxes?
Hand them out as guests are leaving, and order the same number as registered or confirmed guests plus about 5 to 10 percent. A wedding usually has a clear guest list, so a small buffer is enough.
Here is an example for a 150-person evening reception that already has a main meal and wants a small snack for guests to carry home.
- Box count: 150 confirmed guests with an 8 percent buffer gives 162 boxes, rounded up to 165.
- All Value Set: 165 × ฿42 = ฿6,930 before delivery.
- Mixing in a better set for elders: If you want the 20 senior relatives of the couple to receive the Best Seller Set, cut the Value Set to 145 boxes.
- New total: (145 × ฿42) + (20 × ฿85) = ฿6,090 + ฿1,700 = ฿7,790 before delivery.
Mixing sets adds little to the total, and the elders get a better set. If you want to try the numbers yourself, use the snack box budget calculator.

How do you use welcome snacks for wedding guests without making the venue look cluttered?
Stack the boxes at the greeting point or on a side table by the entrance, and have one helper hand them out. You do not need to set up a buffet. This uses little space and nobody has to keep refilling pastries.
Things to check with the venue before ordering:
- Venue rules: Some hotels or banquet rooms have rules about bringing in outside food. Ask the venue first.
- Route for carrying goods: The parking spot, service lift and back door should be known before the day.
- Table space: If you order 100 boxes or more, you need tables or floor space to stack the boxes.
- Receiver: Someone who knows about the order has to be there when the boxes arrive.
If the hosts are comparing with another kind of event, such as a social gathering, look at the party and gathering snack box page. The difference is that party guests are not tied to a ceremony.
How much per person should a wedding snack budget be?
A wedding snack budget with no main meal should be ฿70 to ฿85 per person. If a main meal is already served, the Value Set at ฿42 is enough. These are our real set prices, and they exclude delivery.
| Type of event | Boxes | Set | Total before delivery |
|---|---|---|---|
| Engagement at home, both families | 50 boxes | Recommend Set ฿70 | ฿3,500 |
| Morning ceremony at a hotel | 60 boxes | Value Set ฿42 | ฿2,520 |
| Giveaway for guests leaving, main meal served | 200 boxes | Value Set ฿42 | ฿8,400 |
| Elderly guests, no main meal | 50 boxes | Best Seller Set ฿85 | ฿4,250 |
Every row excludes delivery, which is charged by real distance. If your budget falls between two sets, say ฿60 per person, use the Value Set at ฿42 for general guests and move some boxes up to the Recommend Set at ฿70 for important guests, rather than hunting for a set at the exact price. For larger numbers, see the guide to snack boxes for 100 people.
How do you order wedding snack boxes, and how far ahead?
Order at least 2 days ahead. If the ceremony is at an early-morning auspicious time, message the team earlier so they can check the queue and delivery time. Payment in full comes before delivery. Reducing the box count needs 48 hours' notice, and after that the original count stands.
- Choose a set, or tell the team your budget and headcount and ask for a suggestion.
- Send the quantity, date, time, location and type of event (wedding, engagement, morning ceremony) with the LINE order button or the quote request form.
- The team confirms the menu, delivery fee and total.
- You confirm and pay, and the team prepares the order and delivers at the agreed time.
If it is last-minute, there are rush options for some pastries: order before 10:00 for 17:00 the same day, or receive within 4 hours. The team does not promise a rush order until they have checked the queue. The service area is Bangkok and surrounding provinces, confirmed per address. See the Bangkok delivery page and all sets on the snack box page. Photos on the site are illustrations, and the real pastries may differ by menu round.
What to know before ordering wedding snacks

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum for wedding snack boxes?
The minimum is 50 boxes per order, and you can mix sets in one order, for example the Best Seller Set for elders and the Value Set for friends and helpers. Tell the team the split when you order. If your event is under 50 guests, combine it with snacks for another part of the day or ask on LINE.
Which set should I choose for wedding giveaway snacks?
It depends on whether a main meal is served. If it is, the Value Set at ฿42 is enough as a small snack to carry home. For a morning ceremony with no food, use the Recommend Set at ฿70 or the Best Seller Set at ฿85, which hold 2 premium pastries.
Can you deliver early in the morning for a morning ceremony?
It depends on the queue and the area. Tell us the time you need and the venue, and the team checks and confirms back. Do not assume it works until confirmed, and we do not guarantee a delivery time in advance. Message us earlier than 2 days ahead if the ceremony is at an early auspicious time.
How much is delivery to a hotel or wedding venue?
Delivery is not included in the box price and is charged by real distance. The team quotes the amount once they know the address, before you confirm the order. The service area is Bangkok and surrounding provinces, confirmed per address, and there is no fixed published list of districts.
Can the couple's names be printed on the box?
No. The box is a white box with the BreakHub logo, and we do not yet offer boxes or stickers made with the hosts' names. If you want to add a thank-you card, ask the team when you order whether they can help. They will answer honestly.
What pastries come in the box, and can I choose them?
You choose from the menu of each set. The Value Set uses the classic menu of 10, and the Recommend and Best Seller Sets use the premium menu of 19. You can mix pastries, but one kind is limited to 20 pieces. The team confirms the menu before preparing the order.
What should guests with food allergies do?
Tell the team in advance what the guest is allergic to. We do not guarantee that pastries are free of allergens. Guests with severe allergies should ask about the ingredients of each pastry directly and check before eating every time.
